About The Author

Dawn Liss is an avid animal lover and also a seven-time marathon runner. Her list of accomplishments is impressive: degrees in political science, law, surgical technician for animals, a stint as a professional singer, and years of experience in retail management as a successful entrepreneur.

She published her own “free” animal magazine in the early 2000s, “The Furry Friends Frolics.” Dawn was featured in Woman’s World magazine in their October 14, 2003, edition as an “Animal Angel.”

She has spent her entire life dedicated to taking care of animals. She generated money for her Furry Friends Fund some seventeen years ago. The fund was set up to help pay the vet costs for people who could not afford much needed medical care for their animals, especially the elderly. She has been called a hurricane, but those that know the vivacious and talented blond businesswoman prefer to think of her as a gentle storm.
